SOLAR POWER IRRIGATION

Irrigation system is basically a way to give water to land or plants (in open land & Greenhouse). Solar power is absolutely perfect for use with irrigation systems for gardens, allotments, greenhouses and polytunnels. When the sun is shining you need more water and so the solar power is there for the pump. By adding a suitable deep-cycle leisure/marine battery, power can be made available 24 hours per day enabling watering in the evening - the best time to water plants in the summer so that the water has a chance to soakinto the ground.

Solar pumping technology methods continue to improve. In the early 1980s the typical solar energy to hydraulic (pumped water) energy efficiency was around 2% with the solar pv panel photovoltaic array being 6-8% efficient and the motor pumpset typically 25% efficient. Today, an efficient solar pump system has an average daily solar energy power to hydraulic efficiency of more than 4%. Solar pv panel photovoltaic modules of the monocrystalline type now have efficiencies in excess of 12% and more efficient motor and irrigation pumpsets are available. A good sub-system (that is the motor, pump and any power conditioning) should have an average daily energy throughput efficiency of 30-40%.

The output of a solar pumping system is very dependent on good irrigation system design derived from accurate site and demand data. It is therefore essential that accurate assumptions are made regarding irrigation water demand/pattern of use and irrigation water availability including well yield and expected drawdown. AUTO IRRIGATION SYSTEM 

Auto irrigation system is very important in the field of agriculture. In the field of agriculture, it is very important to maintain the level of water or moisture in the soil where crops are planted. Excess or deficiency in water may harm the growth of plants which results in loss of farmers. To solve this problem, auto irrigation system is designed. Auto irrigation system keep information about moisture level in land and keep moisture to permissible limit. Moisture sensor is used to measure moisture level in soil. According to measured moisture level, water pump turns on or off. An automated irrigation system can be put together using a suitable 12V programmable timer which will turn on the pump at the same time every evening. Alternatively, a bespoke electronic relay control board* can be put together to supply power to the pump (or many different pumps) with your choice of turn on/off times each day.

SOLAR DESALINATION SYSTEMS:

Aiming at remote and rural regions/Areas that don’t have access to vast amounts of electricity and require a clean drinking water we can provide you with a portable solar desalination system that satisfy you requirements.

Desalination systems often require a lot of energy, as well as a large infrastructure, to support them but we can provide compact system that is able to cope due to its ingenious design.

 

The system’s photovoltaic panel is able to generate power for the pump, which in turn pushes undrinkable seawater through a permeable membrane. Once the salt and other minerals are removed, the water can then be drunk. The system even has sensors that enable water purification even without high levels of sunlight.

Small unit, reportedly, produced 80 gallons of drinking water per day, depending on weather conditions. A larger unit version is also being designed, which will cost a little higher than the small unit version, but will be able to provide1,000 gallons (4,546 letters) of water daily. The design team also claim that two dozen desalination units could be combined, providing water for more than 10,000 people.
